LightMachinery, Inc.

Excimer, TEA CO2 lasers & spectrometers

Industrially rugged and proven technology

We partner with LightMachinery Inc for their deep expertise and large installed base of medium power excimer and Transversely Excited Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide (TEA CO2) lasers. These industrially rugged and proven technologies have applications in industry and science.

Their CO2 lasers are used for marking and materials processing, while their excimer lasers deliver high-power ultraviolet laser machining. LightMachinery lasers are ultra-reliable with a low cost of ownership. And have been used for everything from date-coding lobsters to stripping wires and drilling holes in catheters.

When it comes to measuring light sources, LightMachinery spectrometers are equally impressive. If you’re looking for high-performing lasers and optical components, talk to Raymax about LightMachinery solutions.

What does LightMachinery manufacture?

Excimer lasers

LightMachinery excimer lasers are reliable machines for research and industrial applications. Achieve state-of-the-art materials processing with lasers that are extremely economical to operate. This economy is achieved thanks to minimal laser gas usage. Both series in this range have several advanced features to maximise your uptime. Contact Raymax to find out more.

TEA CO2 lasers

LightMachinery pioneered Transversely Excited Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide (TEA CO2) lasers over 30 years ago. The LaserMark Series are used for marking everything from beer caps to miniature electronic components, creating reliable high-quality marks “on the fly”. Likewise, the IMPACT series are rugged enough to withstand the 24/7 processing of non-metallic materials.

Spectrometers

Thanks to their fluid jet polishing (FJP) technology, LightMachinery are able to achieve incredible resolution in their spectrometer range. If you have tight tolerances you need to meet—talk to Raymax about a LightMachinery spectrometer. LightMachinery spectrometers can measure the full range of wavelengths, from UV all the way up to infrared.

Custom Optics

Lightmachinery has a long history of creating envelope-pushing optics and holds the patent for fluid jet polishing (FJP). Lightmachinery can create unique and custom-made optics.

Why Raymax?

We make laser light work for you. We’ve spent over 30 years demonstrating what’s possible with lasers. In doing so, we’ve helped modernise Australian and New Zealand industries. You’ll be working with a team of physicists and factory-trained engineers—leaders in the supply of laser solutions and photonics equipment. We’re experts in material interaction research. Wherever possible, you’ll be introduced to new technology that can improve operation in ways you might not have imagined possible.
