Hyperspectral Cameras & Imaging Systems

Get the most cost-effective result per pixel

HySpex hyperspectral cameras are leaders in the hyperspectral imaging (HSI) field. Raymax partners with HySpex because they offer the highest data quality on the market and decades of experience. So you get the cost-effective result per pixel. These powerful tools are used in industrial sorting, laboratory analysis, clinical diagnosis and agricultural monitoring.

Hyperspectral imaging collects up to hundreds of narrow and contiguous bands with detailed information. This information can be used to classify, analyse or inspect materials in numerous ways. But it can’t be seen with the human eye. Therefore, quality software from Predikteria is used to interpret the results accurately.

What does HySpex manufacture?

Airborne Hyperspectral Cameras

This range can be mounted onto an aircraft and used for airborne applications, such as agricultural and geological surveying. The cameras are light and energy-efficient—2 important factors for an airborne system. They can be interfaced with your navigational hardware or supplied with leading position- and attitude-logging systems (IMU/GPS).

Laboratory Hyperspectral Cameras

HySpex hyperspectral cameras offer the highest data quality on the market with the best value per effective pixel ratio. They can be supplied with a rotation or translation stage for imaging static scenes, used in field, laboratory, or clinical environments.

Field Hyperspectral Cameras

You can scan field scenes by mounting your HySpex camera on a tripod and rotation stage. The software used sets the scan speed to match the camera’s pixel size and your choice of lens. The acquisition computer powers the camera and rotation stage for a portable set-up.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Hyperspectral Cameras

HySpex Mjolnir is the first hyperspectral imaging system of its kind! This unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-compatible camera gives true hyperspectral data for all pixels. There’s an option for both the VNIR and SWIR range, as well as the HySpex Mjolnir VS-620 camera that covers the full range (400-2500nm).

Industrial Hyperspectral Cameras

If you have an industrial application, like material inspection or quality control, the HySpex Baldur line offers the flexibility, repeatability and acquisition speeds required. These are super reliable machines—both in terms of the spectral data they acquire and their ability to withstand harsh environments.

Prediktera Software

Prediktera software works with your HySpex camera to make sense of the data. They have 3 options to support you from exploratory analysis in the R&D stage right through to process integration.

Why Raymax?

We make laser light work for you. We’ve spent over 30 years demonstrating what’s possible with lasers. In doing so, we’ve helped modernise Australian and New Zealand industries. You’ll be working with a team of physicists and factory-trained engineers—leaders in the supply of laser solutions and photonics equipment. We’re experts in material interaction research. Wherever possible, you’ll be introduced to new technology that can improve operation in ways you might not have imagined possible.
