The world’s first aspheric lens for laser beam expansion opens new opportunities not possible with conventional laser beam expanders. An aspheric beam expansion lens corrects spherical aberrations and realises an afocal system for large input beam diameters and and can reduce system size by up to half. asphericon’s laser beam expander system covers a wide wavelength spectrum including design wavelengths of 355 to 1064 nm and works completely diffraction-limited, both as a single element and in cascades of additional coated elements, and up to 32x expansion.
The sophisticated optical design of asphericon’s adjustable fibre collimators/couplers enables simple fibre coupling, alignment of FC/PC patch fibres, and wavefront modification with minimal adjustments. Users can combine collimators with BeamTuning or other beam-shaping elements for any chosen output beam while maintaining a diffraction-limited wavefront. asphericon’s compact, adjustable fibre collimator/coupler perfectly aligns FC/PC patch fibres and require little effort to adjust wavelengths.
Efficient top-hat beam shapers are optimised for all wavelengths 300-1600 nm and maximum results in all laser applications. These modular components allow straightforward transformation of Gaussian laser beams into various round and square top-hat profiles. The range has top-hat shapers for long-distance work and applications with smaller beam diameters at shorter distances.
