A modular and portable compact laser with robotic connectivity from Laserline offers 10,000 watts of laser power, and is designed for use in small-to-medium enterprises that require job flexibility.
The LDF, available ;from Raymax Lasers, ;stands at under one square meter, and incorporates a diode laser which enables users to incorporate it into different areas of production.
The LDF unit runs on a 45% wall-plug, and is said to offer lower cooling and energy requirements than a fixed unit, thence lower overall production costs for the user.
According to Raymax Lasers, the portable laser can be used for large area cladding and heat treatment, along with metal welding and brazing.
