Quantel Laser Diodes produces a broad range of Power Laser Diode products in the 795nm to 980nm wavelength for solid state laser pumping and direct use of high power. Laser Spectroscopy is a tool to accurately measure narrow absorption lines in the near-infrared spectral region (1.30µm - 1.8µm). Gas molecules absorb energy at specific wavelength, providing a unique print for that species. This process is highly selective such that slighly away from the absorption lines their is no absorption. By tuning the laser's beam wavelength to the desired gas absorption line and by precise measurement of the absorption level of that beam it is possible to determine the concentration of the gas.
